People accuse Jesus of introducing the concept of hell. The concept of a place of punishment and eternal suffering never occurs in the Old Testament. So, did Jesus introduce such a concept? No, he did not. The misunderstanding relating to this comes from the language which Jesus spoke – which was Hebrew or Aramaic.
